Really must mention everyone we met in England who were brilliant - £200 in donations from complete strangers and no sexual favours required.
Special thank you for Mark at the Kirkfield Hotel, Newton-le-Willows for his hospitality.
See you all at the parade tomorrow.

Long haul up the hills today but inspired by Tam who rode like a man possessed knowing he was meeting Christine at Penrith - what a smile, like a huge cheshire cat!!
Then on to heroes welcomes (and several pints ) at Carlisle, Longtown,Springfield and Gretna - brought a tear to a glass eye.
Thanks to the escort party at the border, we didn't know they could ride bikes.
No reply to my text to Muff's Massage Parlour so will give that a miss to prepare for a long stage to Glasgow on Sunday.
Kirwin:
whereabouts in Glasgow lads, I need to stand on a bridge and heave half a brick or two at you as you pass by.

Back in Gretna tomorrow night.

Greetings ARFC ! Former member Paul Moran here, recovering from several refreshments with T A K last night. The boys are in fine fettle, few more £ raised at one of my locals. Took part in local quiz - Kenny celebrated getting the " carrot " question correct by running around his chair ( he canna be that stiff ! ). They're both pretty hairy now - get the razors out! All the best keep it up. SPM

Biggest day yet, 86 miles but the arses are really tender.Could we meet up with Margaret at weekend for some advice!!
Decided to try Macallan fuel last night and seems to work, more research needed.
Now in Newton-le-Willows and have blagged free B&B.
Good to see Tam's so popular at work.
Start preparing those drinks Gav
aileen & aitken:
Is that 86 miles as the crow flys or 86 miles on the wibbly wobbly road after the new turbo charged fuel, purely medicinal of course if it works keep it going.
|
Ex-Gretna Squad member:
Great f***ing effort lads - you are going great guns. At this rate we might see you at the weekend, you might even end up parading doon Annan high street behind the pipe bands! Have you tried ice baths yet to ease the pain?

As you are all aware, ROM is nearly upon us. The question I have is, Do us non-members need a signature to get into your splendid club this Saturday night? If somebody could let me know please. Thanks.
