Friday 10th February

Wales U20 v Scotland U20
Edinburgh v Ospreys

Both kick off at 7.35. Come and watch them both on different screens

minto:
Any Oki Doki tourists online today? The Scotland team shot themselves in the foot. What was the atmosphere like in the stadium today? I don't want to comment on the team or the inadequate refereeing. I do not enjoy listening to Jonathan Davis' summarising...time he was put out to grass. Roll on France in a fortnight.
Glory days

Espn fantasy league update. 3 tries 1 assist man of the match and loads of sexton kicks. Did I miss something else?? Haha. I'll have some of that hairy!!

Jim T:
After the first round of games have been completed, Calum Muir, a late entrant to ANNAN RFC league tops the leader board by one point, with Craig McCann in second place but there is a long way to go.

If anyone else wants to enter a team into ANNAN RFC league for a bit of fun, just follow the link at the top of this page.

Eddie remember you have still to pick your team.

Jim:
For anyone that has entered their ESPN team into the ANNAN RFC league and wants to take part in the additional competition within ANNAN RFC league, not including the team managers I have already seen, please see message on the board for the ANNAN RFC league on ESPN fantasy rugby site. Leave a message as requested, if you want to take part in this additional competition. Cheers

David Denton might be MoM but he still made many mistakes.I was surprised that the scrum creaked and we lost a couple of lineouts as that's usually our strength. I think that having Ross Ford as captain is a tough job because he's got to think of the lineout codes and then try to hit the man -too much for him. Cuaiter & Blair are better decision makers. I'm struggling to be positive but I guess that Rennie, Evans, Rory Lamont, Cusiter and Denton looked like competitors....then you look at that break Rennie made and failed to make the easy pass....just another day as a Scotland fan.
Glory Days.

Calum, Kelso:
Complete opposite to the display by Scotland A on the Friday night. I wouldn't make out and out changes for next week but Parks has to be out for Weir/Laidlaw, Matt Scott for Lamont and Hogg in there somewhere.

Bazz:
Correct Weir/Laidlaw is the only way forward.

Paul, David Denton is (future) a champion. Currently he owns great Mullet and played a great game against England which he lost, and apparently Ross Rennie needs a 2 on 1 masterclass.

I have no beef with Parks but as of now he is number3

is anybody setting up espn fantasy league for annan for the 6 nations ????

Jim T:
Belly, I have not had a chance to set up a separate league for the club. If you are able to do this, all you need to do is register the team name and get a login code for everyone to use. Everything else takes care of itself. I am sure there are a few teams that have been selected for the main ESPN competition by players and members from the club, so hopefully there will be the same interest there was for the World Cup competition.

JIM T:
For anyone interested, I have now created a league for ANNAN RFC. If you wish to include your team in this league the PIN number to enter is 8300.

Hairy:
Cheers Twig thats the winning team just entered the league. What do I win?

For the person who said we took Newton Stewart too lightly last week... They beat Irvine away yesterday 7-6 and are now up to 4th in the league. That is all.
