I see Alex didn't make the scotland squad, pity that muppet Lineen didn't give him more game time during the world cup the 5-10minute cameos he got he showed his potential and was still over looked.He showed his class against cardiff and had jamie roberts in his back pocket, that only came about because morrison was thankfully injured and alex got to play in his favoured position at long last. Keep your chin up Alex i'm sure you will get your chance come the autumn wonder if Townsend will have the balls to drop morrison and give Alex a sustained run at inside centre? watch this space.

I think Grove and Ansbro coming back from injury was a factor in selection - and also the fact that it is only a squad of 28. If Alex starts next season like he has finished this one, I'm sure he will force himself into consideration.

No Onny Twig is innocent.Landed on my shoulder on the hard ground trying to protect the ball and got a clean break to the neck of my right humerus.I didn't think it was funny though.

The Vets game photos are fantastic. Favourites are the Hairy and Babe classic tackles around shots 20-40. Looks like Gogs can still spot a gap in the line too. The scrum shots looks like something from a Gareth Chilcott look a like show. Superb.
