Just Surfed in. A work mate just told me he'd
be going to Scotland in August on vacation
and that he'd like to catch a rugby match. I
thought I'd check to see when you guys start
your season so I could advise him on his
chances. Like your site!

As a former player and resident of Langholm, now living in San Francisco, I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate Annan R.F.C on being the first to have a web site. Could someone tell those idiots in "the muckle toon" how to use a computer and t
ll them to leave the sheep alone!!
- 06/01/00 14:15:35
Why not get some hot chicks in and do a stripper night at the rugby club! That would rule! :D

Have forwarded your invite to our men. Hope they are wise enough to tour Scotland on our next tour. You are, of course, invited to make Dayton a stop next time you hit the USA. It's nothing like Texas. Cheers!

i would like to extend my thanks to alan robertson for all the work he has put in over the last ex number of years. he has been a great ambassador for the club and has left a void that hopefully ronnie can fill. cheers alan

I Have followed this page along with comments made on the message page on the subject of our u16 side ,now that the season is over I would like to give my bobs worth .This team will now move on to u18 with a great team spirit and several very talented lad
with great potential. However the real test now for the club over the next two years with this group is to cultivate fist team players . All the coaches at the club have made a commitment to assist me next year in order to maintain progress, but the real
challenge is to the boys themselves as at the end of the day they will only achieve what THEY really want to.May I thank all the support the lads have had . The Academy and Colin McCann in particular deserves great credit for thier progress and team spiri
. Also to the ladies team who have been faithfull supporters [perhaps its not only the coaches that can spot potential ].The boys have a fund raising day on June 4th at violetbank .Car boot sale 10 until 1 [bookings on Annan 206080 £5 per car].There is al
o a whole host of other events with a u18 v Coaches game to finish .KO 2pm . So Moley you and your 2000 friends get in touch, you will get your game and the coaches will have plenty subs .
- 05/14/00 04:53:26
To some people a year of development means a year of stagmentation , no way buddy ,next year you will see a team hungry for success
- 05/14/00 04:32:11
I think this club loses all its tremendous ambition when it says it may have found its level at National Div1 , We have stayed in that league for the last two years but so what , its a young team, with the right team spirit it can win the league comforta
ly .Sorry for my abruptness but I hate being told that someone ( who I know isn't ) is better than me . And so should you

Superb site! We had our 7;s last weekend with 16 teams (8 from the Mainland including Aberdeen Grammar FP's and Grangemouth). Superb day Grammar beat us in the final (the bassa's) but we had one hell of a night after it.
You guys should send a team up next year, you won't regret it (there's a Ladies Hockey tournament on the Sunday!!!!).
See you next year?

I was looking forward to answering not cons note . Its funny that Newington had no complaints between Glas div 2 and Nat div 1.Annan were able to play away from home then also .Please do me a favour and look in the dictionary for NEGATIVE and TRUTH.It is
true that a number of young players have come through from the colts long may it continue hence my enthusiasm for the present crop .

Firstly i would like to apologise for my performance on Saturday all 45 seconds of it, wasn't my best by a long way, oh well musn't grumble.
From a spectators point of view (Most of the match anyway) i thought the boys played really well, forwards linking well with the backs, like old times. Lets have another 5 pointer on Saturday and we could finish a respectable fifth. Im looking to get a co
ple of minutes this week
- 03/28/00 15:14:24
I would like to thank Mr Currie for his kind words, although I believe we still didn't perform as well as we could . The first half was excelent , we played a 15 man game for the first time this season and it worked very well , however when we had the win
in the second half we relied on kicking too much , and didn't work as hard off the ball .Don't get me wrong I think we played well but we should have scored more than 10 points in the second half
- 03/26/00 22:49:03
I found your website very amusing and entertaining and, even, fairly up to date. I think it's about time you compiled the weekly reports for that National treasure-the "Observer" From the No.1 supporter(it's true) John (Polo) Marshall, Hermitage,Hollee
- 03/26/00 12:05:11
On behalf of the annan support which witnessed yesterdays game against Corstorphine, I would like to record that it was one of our best displays of the season and our 5 points were thoroughly deserved: if only we could be as fired up for every game.---

Have you noticed that when Langholm are beaten that their reports in the papers always start with....' an injury hit Langolm ... Langholm without several regulars ...etc. etc'

Hi everyone , I have three confessions to make .First of all I must unmask myself as the phoney Bob Currie , boy thats a weight off my back , secondly the "try" I scored on Saturday was actually dropped in the act of touching down and finally , I had to g
home early later on because I was blitzkrieged , Reef sends you loopy as does tequila but everyone knows that. I feel I must apologise to Bob , Duns and myself for my behavior during the last week.Have to go I can smell my octopus burning

Why the hell was Saturdays game against Livingston cancelled i personally thought it was a great day for rugby. Bob for your info mate it is Bazz that is impersonating you, needs a kicking.
If anyone wants to e-mail me feel free.
- 'what's more interesting about Sundays cancelled game is that our Club Coach was at Livingston's ground and their players were training on the pitch! - interesting! The Webmaster
- 03/05/00 00:40:18
I'm Robert Currie and that filanderer who impersonated me , by trying to apologise for my just treatment of Bruce Hays' ridiclous behaviour is the one who is in bad taste . To impersonate such a luminary such as myself could well be seen as mass fraud and
the punishment for that is death by , being cornered by Mash and Cash , the most painful of the capital punishments .

Hi, I guess I stumbled over your page by accident but I was impressed. I have never heard of you r club nor any of the other clubs that are listed in the "Rugby Clubs of Scotland" link. The reason I am writing is that I wish to travel to Scotland to work
or a co-op which is part of my college requirement. I was wondering how to go about trying out for a team there. My grandparents came from Scotland and my Grandfather played Rugby there although I do not know for what team. Anyways, I wish to play for a c
ub over there and if anyone who reads this page has any information that would help, please write me back. I have been playing for about 9 years, I am 25, 6'3" tall and 240 pounds. I play postion 5(lock) always have. I am also a good runner and a good tac
ler. I am not looking for money, I will play for free, I just finished my season here in College so I thought I would look elsewhere for a team. Any info would be appreciated.
