In the Sarah Beaney Cup 3 matches are taking place - Cartha host Heriots, Broughton take on Corstorphine while at Violetbank the Warriors take on Stirling County Ladies.

Winners will join the 5 other teams that got byes into the 2nd round: Garioch, Howe, Watsonians, Hillhead Jordanhill and Ayr.

There are never any easy matches in knockout rugby and Sundays matches are no exception!

So the Warriors welcome Stirling County Ladies to Violetbank for the 2nd time on Sunday

The teams met last year in the Premier league when the Stirling Ladies ran out convincing winners. The Warriors did score 2 cracking tries though through Jane Stewart and Allana McWilliam

A quarter final tie is the reward for the winners and one step closer to playing at the hallowed grounds of Murrayfield!

The Warriors have yet to reach a Murrayfield final and the Cup route is, of course, always the hardest route. On Sunday Stirling County Ladies will be favourites but its the Cup, anything could happen!

A big vocal Warriors support would be most appreciated as it always is!
