On the morning of Sunday 31st August, a contingent of Annan coaches and around 30 youth and mini players, travelled to a warm and sunny Park Farm, Dumfries where they took part in a coaching session delivered by former Scottish International and SRU Ambassador Chris Paterson, at Dumfries Saints Rugby Club.
During the morning Chris spent time with the various age groups and coaches, putting them through various rugby drills, which were thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.
Following the training session Chris posed for photographs, with the players and signed autographs.
Following a hearty lunch provided by Dumfries Saints, Chris then took part in a question and answer session with everyone in the Clubhouse.
This was an excellent input and gave all who took part the opportunity to get up close and interact with a Scottish Rugby Legend.
Special thanks to John Steele, John Wilson and all at Dumfries Saints for their hospitality and the opportunity to attend and take part
